Sixteen years after giving us the definitive Rush story in Beyond The Lighted Stage, acclaimed Banger Films directors Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn return to the band’s universe with Neil Peart: No One’s Disciple.

Premiering at TIFF, the documentary goes past the legendary solos to uncover the private man, the devoted friend, and the literary mind behind the icon. Joining me today are filmmakers Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn to talk about honoring Neil’s legacy, capturing his story, and what it was like seeing iconic drummers step behind the kit with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson.

The documentary offers an intimate look at Neil’s early struggles, his meteoric rise, and the guarded, fiercely loyal man behind the music.
