Well, this is the subject of Christy Beam's best-selling novel, Miracles From Heaven which has now been turned into a major motion picture starring Jennifer Garner.

Hot Docs has announced 15 documentary features that will be a part of this year’s Special Presentations program, a high-profile collection of world and international premieres, award-winners from the recent international festival circuit and works by master filmmakers or featuring some star subjects. These films will screen in Toronto, Canada as part of the 2016 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, running April 28 to May 8. In past years, many of the Hot Docs titles go on to become Academy Award nominees and winners.

Gerard Butler is back in full-on action hero mode! After the success of 2013's hit Olympus Has Fallen the 46-year old Scottish actor decided it was time to reunite with the cast to bring us another action packed thrill ride with, London Has Fallen.

His long time pal Norman Reedus who is currently killing every zombie in his path on The Walking Dead is is also moving towards some big screen roles, so it was only natural that these guys are currently co-starring in the intense action thriller, Triple 9.

Joseph Fiennes is pretty picky when it comes to choosing his roles. His criteria always boils down to an interesting script and something that presents a challenge. The 45-year old actor found what he was looking for in his latest film Risen, which follows a Roman military officer by the name of Clavius (Joseph Fiennes), an unbeliever who is tasked by Pilate to find the body before Christ's followers exploit what Pilate thinks is a hoax.

oronto's own Stephan James is going places. The 22- year old actor who played Representative John Lewis in the critically acclaimed Selma, plays another hero of sorts in Race, the story of Olympic track superstar Jesse Owens at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He defied all odds when he represented the U.S. in Berlin and won four gold medals. The film also stars Jason Sudeikis as his track coach Larry Snyder.

With zombies being the latest rage these days, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is an undead mash-up based on the best-selling novel by Seth Grahame-Smith. Published by Quirk Books, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has sold more than 1.5 million copies in the United States and has been translated into more than two dozen languages.

Who doesn't love a good Nicholas Sparks romance? The best-selling author certainly has the market cornered when it comes to love especially given the fact that eleven of his best novels have been turned into films and he’s just about to start on the 12th!
His latest romance to make it to the big screen is The Choice, starring Benjamin Walker (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer) andTeresa Palmer (Warm Bodies).

The Finest Hours (in theatres on Friday) is based on the Michael J. Tougias and Casey Sherman book of the same name, which tells the true story of Coast Guard Captain Bernie Webber (Chris Pine) and his crew. When a massive nor’easter hits the Eastern seaboard in February 1952, it tears a T-2 oil tanker in half and Webber and his three-man team must set out in a wooden lifeboat in dangerous conditions to rescue the stranded sailors. The film also stars Ben Foster, John Ortiz and Eric Bana, and Holliday Grainger.

It was eight years ago that audiences first met DreamWork Animation‘s lovable Kung Fu Panda, Po, and five years ago that we last saw the character (voiced by Jack Black) on the big screen. On January 29th, Po is back alongside the Furious Five (voiced by Jackie Chan, David Cross, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen) and about to come face to face with his birth father (Bryan Cranston).
