Gustaf Skarsgard as "Floki" in VIKINGS

Gustaf Skarsgard is one busy guy!! Not only is he  back as ‘Floki’ in season five of HISTORY's Vikings but he has joined the cast of Westworld.

Gustaf Skarsgård is one of the talented siblings in a famous filmmaking family. His father is vetran actor Stellan Skarsgard and his brother Alexander was most recently seen in the HBO hit mini series, Big Little Lies.

Gustaf's achievements are vast and has been awarded his native Sweden’s highest cinema honors for his films. In his next big role he will join the cast for the second season of HBO’s sci-fi western Westworld and his recent films include the independent psychological thriller VI, Peter Weir’s The Way Back; and the Academy Award® nominated adventure drama Kon-Tiki.

Skarsgård portrays ‘Floki’ in HISTORY’s hit drama series Vikings, a family saga that tells the remarkable tales of the lives and epic adventures of the raiders and explorers of the Dark Ages. Floki is a religious zealot who believes in the Gods above anything and everything, including Ragnar.

Vikings returns for an epic fifth season with Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) joining the cast as “Bishop Heahmund” along with series regulars including Katheryn Winnick and Skarsgård. Season five begins with Ivar the Boneless asserting his leadership over the Great Heathen Army, while Lagertha reigns as Queen of Kattegat. Ivar’s murder of his brother Sigurd sets the stage for vicious battles to come as Ragnar’s sons plot their next moves after avenging their father’s death. Bjorn follows his destiny into the Mediterranean Sea and Floki, who is suffering from the loss of his wife Helga, takes to the seas, submitting himself to the will of the Gods. This season is full of startling alliances and unbelievable betrayals as the Vikings fight to rule the world.
