TOM ELLIS TALKS ABOUT HIS NEW SERIES, CIA

Tom Ellis is back on episodic TV and this time he’s taking on the CIA.

A brand-new drama from one of TV’s greatest producers and hitmakers, is the much-anticipated midseason addition of Dick Wolf’s CIA.

The new procedural, is an expansion of the FBI universe, which stars Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss as two unlikely partners – Colin Glass, a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA agent and Bill Goodman, a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent who believes in the rule of law.

Welsh actor Tom Ellis is best known for starring as Lucifer Morningstar in Lucifer (2016–2021), along with roles in Miranda, Rush, and Doctor Who. He trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and rose from British sitcoms to international stardom, recognized for his charm and singing talent.

Now Tom is ready and excited to take on this new chapter in his career starring in Dick Wolf’s action packed drama, CIA.

CIA makes it’s debut on Global TV in Canada and CBS in the States on Monday, February 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

I spoke with Tom about taking on the role and what excited him about getting back into episodic TV.
