Who is ready to see Downton Abbey’s "Lady Edith star Laura Carmichael in a thriller??

For six years Laura Carmichael played the role of Lady Edith in the hit British television series Downton Abbey ( and in the big screen follow up). Hr character had her ups and downs and even scandalously gave birth to a baby out of wedlock and handed it over to others to raise while she figured out what to do.

Now you can see Carmichael starring in role that is as far from Lady Edith as she could get! In The Secrets She Keeps, a new Australian thriller series, Carmichael plays Aggie who is somewhat of a deranged psychopath! She’s a shelf stacker at a small grocery store,  very pregnant and obsessed with a local Instagram mommy blogger (Jessica De Gouw) who’s also pregnant.

Aggie makes her way into Meghan’s life in order to carry out a very evil plan that would make the Crawley’s of Downton skin crawl!!

Being a HUGE fan of Downton, I was thrilled to be able to speak with Carmichael from her home in the UK.
