THE HARDY BOYS ARE BACK FOR SEASON 2 - INTERVIEW WITH ROHAN CAMPBELL & ALEXANDER ELLIOT

The Hardy Boys everyone’s favorite sleuthing siblings are back for more , thrills, chills and mysteries to solve!

The Hardy Boys returns for a second season, which picks up six months after the events of Season 1, building on the mystery and drama of the inaugural season and welcoming new friends and suspects. In Season 2, when a Bridgeport classmate mysteriously disappears, Frank (Rohan Campbell) and Joe Hardy (Alexander Elliot) drop their new normal routine to get back to detective work. But when they discover the mystical relic they destroyed last year is still in play, it becomes clear their simple missing person case is actually part of something far more sinister.

The Hardy boys and their friends must quickly learn who they can and can’t trust as they race against time to unravel the truth, and ultimately realize that no one is safe from their past.

Rohan Campbell is a Canadian actor, born and raised in the small-town of Cochrane, Alberta, surrounded by farmland, cowboys, hockey and the Rocky Mountains. His acting career began at the age of seven and some of Rohan’s early credits include a role in Ridley Scott’s TV series, Klondike, as well as a starring role opposite Scott Eastwood in the film Diablo. His later film credits include The Professor starring Johnny Depp, and Boundaries opposite Christopher Plummer and Vera Farmiga. While in between films he was also cast in several TV shows such as Mech X4, The 100 and iZombie, as well as an emotional turn on the Netflix Original series Virgin River and most recently, in Sacred Lies (Facebook Watch) and Operation Christmas Drop (Netflix).

Alexander Elliot is a Canadian actor who began acting and dancing at age six. At the outset of his acting career, he was a member of a local theatre troupe, performing in a series of new productions each year. His early days in the theatre prompted him to start training vocally. In 2018, Alex played the role of ‘Winthrop Paroo’ in a 10-month run of Stratford Festival's production of The Music Man. Alex has many TV shows and movie credits to his name. His performances include roles in Detention Adventure (CBC), Odd Squad (PBS), Trapped: The Alex Cooper Story (Silver Screen), as well as a role in the Netflix series Locke and Key and Workin’ Moms (CBC). 

The Hardy Boys, Season 2 premieres on April 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on YTV and STACKTV. Filmed in Toronto and Southern Ontario, the series features an all-Canadian cast!

I spoke with stars Rohan Campbell and Alexander Elliot about the new season and how they have changed over the course of the year.
