Exclusive Interview with Trolls directors Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn

Poppy ( Anna Kendrick ) and Branch ( Justin Timberlake )

From the creators of Shrek comes a smart, funny, irreverent animated comedy, DreamWorks’ Trolls. This holiday season, enter a colorful, wondrous world populated by hilariously unforgettable characters and discover the story of the overly optimistic Trolls, with a constant song on their lips, and the comedicly pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have trolls in their stomach.

Known for their crazy, colourful, and magical hair, Trolls are the happiest, most joyous creatures ever to burst into song. But their world of rainbows and cupcakes is changed forever, when their leader Poppy (Anna Kendrick,) must embark on a rescue mission that takes her far beyond the only world she’s ever known.

Featuring original music from Justin Timberlake, the film stars the voice talent of Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Russell Brand, James Corden, Kunal Nayyar, Ron Funches, Icona Pop, Gwen Stefani and many more.

DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls is set to open this Friday, and I had the pleasure of chatting with director Mike Mitchell and co-director Walt Dohrn to discuss the film and why everyone should see this movie, PRONTO.
