Looking for a life in U.S. Politics? Go NO further than, Boys State!

Boys State is a character-driven Sundance-winning Hot Docs film that takes an intimate look at an elaborate American Legion program, in which 1,000 high school seniors assemble at the Texas state Capitol, create their own mock government and campaign for the highest office at Texas Boys State—governor.

The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24, 2020. Shortly after, A24 and Apple TV+ acquired distribution rights to the film for $12 million. The film was set to screen at South by Southwest on March 13, 2020, but the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It’s an eye opening and intelligent documentary filled with smart, hard working hopefuls!
